Day 5: Both kids are feeling better. My husband drops them off each day at school because he works evenings and doesn’t get to see them for the rest of the day. He is missing them so badly.

Today is Monday and I thought it was picture day so the kids got dressed in their best outfits and did their hair all cute. My daughter grabbed some lipstick to wear for the camera. Twenty minutes after we dropped them off I got a text from my daughter that it is not picture day. It’s the following Monday. Oops!

I pick them up from the bus at 3:05. We are about 30 minutes from the school. We go home for an hour and then head back to town for my daughter’s tumbling from 4:30-6 and then head to another town 30 minutes away for my son’s karate class at 6:45. This is rural living at its best! Luckily my husband made us sloppy joes for dinner at 9. Phew, I am pooped.
