Day 7: Wednesdays for the past year have always been our busy day. My son has Teen Class at the library starting at 2:30. My daughter is tumbling from 4:30-6 and then we head to another town for my son’s karate class at 6:45-8. We don’t get home until 9:00 at night. But now we add in school and the kids are both totally exhausted by day end. Since we live 30 minutes away, we hang out at the library most of the time. Sometimes we go places and get a snack. We ended up at a coffee/soda shop and somehow a lot of the 8th graders did too. It was cute because all of them knew my son’s name and said hello and goodbye to him. It made him feel good that they all knew who he was. My daughter informed us that she got a letter from the crush asking if she likes him with a check box Yes or No. Of course she checked the yes box. We’ll see what happens next.
