Cipher: Vigenère (key: SATOSHI) shifts each letter according to the repeating key. Align the key with the ciphertext, subtract the key letters, and you’ll reveal the plaintext.
History: Once called “le chiffre indéchiffrable,” the Vigenère cipher resisted breaking for 300 years until Charles Babbage cracked it in 1854.
