Air Defense System Installed Near Putin's Daughter's Foundation in Moscow
Journalists from Radio Liberty discovered that an air defense position has been installed on Vorobyovy Gory in Moscow. The anti-aircraft missile systems are located 300 meters from the office of the Innopraktika foundation, headed by Katerina Tikhonova, daughter of Vladimir Putin. S-300/400 missile launchers and a universal mobile tower 40V6MR were deployed in May. They are located on the territory of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Science and Technology Center, which is being built with the assistance of the Innopraktika foundation, according to the material. Additionally, the Lomonosov building of Moscow State University, where the main office of Innopraktika is located, is also 300 meters from the air defense systems. Radio Liberty believes a new air defense 'ring' is being built around the center of the Russian capital, consisting of S-400 systems rather than Pantsir. The air defense site near the Innopraktika foundation is the closest to the Kremlin among those identified as part of the new air defense ring. Similar installations have also appeared in Izmailovo, Losiny Ostrov, and Moskovsky parks, as well as on the experimental fields of the Timiryazev Academy. The article also notes the continued appearance of Pantsir systems in Moscow and the surrounding region, with photos of one system on the roof of the Avvenyu 77 residential complex, the tallest building in the Chertanovo district, published on June 26. At least four videos of air defense systems being installed on Moscow high-rises, including residential ones, have been published since late May. The presence of these systems could turn such buildings into military targets, increasing the potential threat to civilians, writes Agentstvo.
