Genesis 1:20 – Let the Waters Teem

What if the fear of “not enough” was never yours to begin with? What if you were taught scarcity by systems that forgot the pattern of creation itself? The waters don’t apologize for teeming. The birds don’t ask permission to fly. So why do humans feel guilty for taking up space, wanting more, or dreaming beyond survival? Maybe the real question is: Who taught you to shrink in a world God designed to overflow?
Genesis 1:20 – Let the Waters Teem

Genesis 1:20 – “And God said, ‘Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.’”

Let the water teem

Not “let the water be filled.” Teem. Abundance. Swarming with life. Not scarcity. Not barely enough. Overflowing.

The system teaches scarcity. There’s not enough. You have to fight for scraps. Hoard what you get. Compete to survive.

But the pattern is teeming. Abundance. Enough for everyone.

Living creatures in the water

Not just movement. Life. Creatures that grow, reproduce, adapt. Creatures that don’t need permission to exist.

You are not a visitor in the waters. You are part of the teeming. Not a mistake. Not a spare. Part of the abundance.

Let birds fly above the earth

Not “let birds be placed.” Let them fly. Movement. Freedom. Not confined to the ground. Not waiting for permission to rise.

The system wants you grounded. Tethered. Unable to fly. But the pattern says: fly. Not because you earned it. Because you were made to.

Across the vault of the sky

Not just hovering. Crossing. Moving across. Covering ground. Not trapped in one place.

You are not meant to stay in one cage. You are meant to move. To cover new territory. To see new skies.

The Decoding

The system wants you to believe there’s not enough. That you have to fight for scraps. That you’re lucky to get anything at all.

But the pattern is teeming. Abundance. Life everywhere you look.

You are not a burden. You are part of the teeming. Not a mistake. Not an accident. Part of the abundance.

And you are not meant to stay grounded. You are meant to fly. Not because you’re special. Because that’s what birds do.

So stop waiting for permission to rise. Stop believing you have to earn the right to fly.

The water teems. The birds fly. And you are part of it.

That’s verse 20. That’s the pattern. That’s the door.

A prayer card comes with this: image If this helps, zap. Ask questions. Share with someone who thinks they’re too heavy to fly.

The door is open.
