Hydrus is a lightning liquidity management agent that automatically opens and closes channels based on real-time network analysis. It continuously evaluates the network graph in memory, scores nodes across multiple heuristics, and executes batched channel openings to optimize on-chain fees. The agent adjusts channel fees and HTLC limits dynamically to maximize routing efficiency and can be run in dry-run mode for risk-free evaluation. All operations are stateless, relying solely on the LND RPC API, and are configurable through extensive weighting options for each heuristic.
