A Tale Of Two Shipwrecks

A Tale Of Two Shipwrecks

New Episode: A Tale Of Two Shipwrecks

This one teaches something most children won’t encounter in a classroom: low time preference — the idea that what you choose not to consume today can become something far more valuable tomorrow.

That understanding is rare. And children who grasp it early carry a real advantage through life. Not just with money, but with effort, relationships, and anything worth building over time.

The story follows two groups of elves shipwrecked on separate islands after the same storm. Same resources. Same ten winters until the next great storm. But completely different choices about how to use what they have.

One group plans and works through the hunger. The other feasts and waits for rescue.

The islands do the rest of the telling.

Calm narration, watercolor illustrations, classical music. A good one to watch together before bed.
