Nearly 20% of Russian airline fleets grounded this summer — double the normal rate

This summer, 19.3% of aircraft from Russia’s 11 largest airlines are grounded, totaling 130 out of 673 planes. While Aeroflot’s grounding rate is normal, other carriers face a much higher rate of 93 out of 322 aircraft.
