Trump makes history at SCOTUS birthright citizenship hearing

President Donald Trump has made history at a Supreme Court hearing on Wednesday about his executive order to end birthright citizenship, reports say.On Wednesday morning, Fox News reported that Trump arrived at the Supreme Court and that Attorney General Pam Bondi was expected to join him. With this attendance, Trump has become the first sitting president to witness Supreme Court oral arguments.'One of the many Great Scams of our time!'Trump’s Executive Order 14160, signed on Inauguration Day, could impact roughly 225,000 individuals born each year. The executive action states that “citizenship does not automatically extend to persons born in the United States: (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States at the time of said person’s birth was lawful but temporary … and the father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth.”Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday that he plans to attend the Supreme Court hearing.“Because I have listened to this argument for so long,” Trump stated. He argued that birthright citizenship was not intended for “Chinese billionaires, or billionaires from other countries, who all of a sudden have 75 children … becoming American citizens.”RELATED: SCOTUS gives Trump a unanimous victory on persecution claims in asylum cases Al Drago/Getty Images“This was about slaves,” Trump continued, adding that birthright citizenship was implemented at the end of the Civil War. “The reason was, it had to do with the babies of slaves and the protection of the babies of slaves. It didn’t have to do with the protection of multimillionaires and billionaires wanting to have their children get an American citizenship,” he said. “It is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.”When asked about the Supreme Court justices, Trump responded, “I love a few of them. I don’t like some others.”RELATED: US Catholic bishops call on SCOTUS to shut down Trump birthright citizenship order and protect 'human dignity' Win McNamee/Getty ImagesIn a post on social media, Trump called birthright citizenship “one of the many Great Scams of our time!” Around 9:30 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday, Trump’s motorcade was spotted leaving the White House en route to the Supreme Court.Like Blaze News? Hegseth delivers verdict on military helicopter pilots' flyover at Kid Rock's mansion

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has weighed in after Kid Rock received some special visitors at his Tennessee mansion overlooking Nashville over the weekend. The video Rock posted, which garnered millions of views on social media, sparked mixed reactions from supporters and detractors as well as the president himself. Rock's video showed him standing outside by his pool clapping and saluting as an AH-64 Apache helicopter hovered near the residence. A second helicopter can momentarily be seen flying in the background of the video as well. 'Carry on, patriots.'In a statement to Blaze News Tuesday afternoon, U.S. Army spokesman Maj. Montrell Russell reported that the pilots were suspended pending the investigation:The Army has confirmed that on March 28, two Apache helicopters from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Campbell conducted a flight in the Nashville area that has attracted public and media attention. This incident is now under an Army Regulation 15-6 administrative investigation. The personnel involved have been suspended from flight duties while the Army reviews the circumstances surrounding the mission, including compliance with relevant FAA regulations, aviation safety protocol, and approval requirements. However, Sec. Hegseth responded to Rock's X post, reversing the threat of investigation as well as the pilots' brief suspension.RELATED: Kid Rock catches heat for viral Apache helicopter social media video — Army launches investigation Andrew Harnik/Getty Images"Thank you @KidRock. @USArmy pilots suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots," Hegseth wrote.President Trump, speaking from the Oval Office on Tuesday, seemed unsure whether the pilots should have done the flyover, the Daily Mail reported. He added, however, "I like Kid Rock, maybe they were trying to defend him, I don't know."Like Blaze News? Jason Whitlock: Ryan Clark PLATFORMS ignorance while dissing Cam Newton

When BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock was invited onto Cam Newton’s “4th & 1” podcast, he wasn’t expecting to have such an eye-opening and civil conversation. However, not everyone else saw it that way.“Ryan Clark is arguing that Cam Newton interviewing, engaging with me was platforming evil,” Whitlock says, before playing a clip of Clark briefly explaining his position.“I don’t want to platform evil. I don’t want to platform hate. I don’t want to platform dissension just because,” Clark said on “The Pivot” podcast.Whitlock points out that one of Clark’s issues with him has been his questioning of ESPN host Stephen A. Smith’s past.“Me questioning a journalist about things they’ve said publicly,” Whitlock scoffs. “That’s where Ryan Clark draws a line in the sand.”“Cut out all the phoniness and fakeness. Ryan, you don’t like me ... because I called out the BS of you going on national TV pretending to cry because some white woman your son doesn’t know, you don’t know, allegedly called him the N-word,” Whitlock comments.“That was some fake BS you did for clicks, for attention,” he continues, “the same thing you’re accusing Cam Newton of doing.”“Ryan Clark, you’re a hypocrite,” he says. “If I’m evil and you’re good, the world is upside down.”Want more from Jason Whitlock? To enjoy more fearless conversations at the crossroads of culture, faith, sports, and comedy with Jason Whitlock, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Why nationwide No Kings protests literally don't matter: ‘Extremely bleak for them’

No Kings protests have been popping up all over the country in protest of President Trump and the United States’ involvement in the Iran war, and of course, the mainstream media has covered these protesters as if they’re a real force to be reckoned with. However, BlazeTV host John Doyle attended one of the protests in Dallas and explains that the reality on the ground tells a much different story. “If you Google it, ‘No Kings 2026,’ there are all of these leftist outlets — be those local, national, even on CNN, MSNBC, all the usual suspects — trying to just put all of this out there, put the imagery out there, to let people know that this is definitely a thing that is very real and very threatening and certainly happening,” Doyle says on “The John Doyle Show.” “The people who actually mobilize and show up to these Democrat quote-unquote ‘protests,’ these are the revolutionary class. This is an inherently sort of kinetic group of people, which is to say a people who are motivated almost chiefly by resentment against just normal American patriots,” he continues. Doyle explains that these protesters also “always need to be out on the streets causing problems, feeling as though they are pushing back against some force.” “It is this kind of 'Handmaid’s Tale' LARP for them. They really do enjoy the interaction with law enforcement, feeling as though they’re being freaking persecuted,” he says. And the visuals Doyle caught at the protest in Dallas only prove his point. “It’s extremely, extremely bleak for them,” he says, before showing a picture of one of the protesters. “It was this extremely obese creature, and it was occupying a mobility scooter, like how you see at Walmart. And there was a sign mounted on the mobility scooter … that said ‘#FreakingNoKings,’” Doyle recalls. “And then you have old people and then foreign people and then foreign old people, and everybody’s dying. It’s like, what? I’m not intimidated. I’m not even having fun. I just feel bad. I used to go in there and felt like I was in a lion’s den, you know? Do a little sparring with the people who want me killed,” he continues. “I had a smile on my face, a pep in my step. You’ve all seen it. I just felt bad,” he says. Want more from John Doyle? Kid Rock Catches Heat for Viral Apache Helicopter Social Media Video — Army Launches Investigation

Famed rock star and longtime Trump supporter Kid Rock has drawn some scrutiny over a video he posted on social media this weekend. While many social media users loved the video, the U.S. Army has nonetheless launched an investigation into the incident. On Saturday, Rock posted a video from what appears to be the pool of his Tennessee mansion, nicknamed the "Southern White House." In the video, Rock can be seen standing at the pool's edge and saluting apparent servicemen aboard a helicopter hovering for a few seconds right in front of him.'My buddy's the commander in chief.'The helicopter hovers in the air almost level to the camera, which is stationed behind Rock."This is a level of respect that s**t for brains Governor of California will never know. God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her," Rock captioned the video.RELATED: Kid Rock's TPUSA halftime destroyed the NFL's Bad Bunny agenda WOJTEK RADWANSKI/AFP/Getty ImagesMany commenters on the Instagram post showed their love for the stunt and for Rock's patriotism. Others, however, have taken issue with the flyover, including the U.S. Army."Fort Campbell leadership is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence associated with Mr. Robert Ritchie (also known as 'Kid Rock'). The command has initiated an investigation to review the circumstances surrounding this activity," Maj. Jonathon Bless, 101st Airborne Division public affairs officer, told Fox News in a statement.Rock, on the other hand, saw no issue with those in the helicopter having a little bit of fun. In an interview with WKRN, Rock laughed, "I think they're going to be all right. My buddy's the commander in chief. I mean, what are they looking into? They stopped for, I don't know, seconds? A minute? Maybe they were here three to four minutes." Fox News reported that Apache helicopters also flew over a nearby No Kings protest in downtown Nashville earlier in the day. "If you're flipping the military off, you're on the wrong side of things man," Rock said of the protesters, who, by his telling, did not appreciate the military presence nearly as much as he did.The Associated Press obtained a written statement from the Army: “Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations. An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Curtis Sliwa cozies up to Mamdani in cutesy cat comedy sketch — and Republicans are calling him a traitor

Former New York City mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa is getting lambasted by Republicans and other critics over a cutesy video he made with socialist NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.Sliwa hammered away at Mamdani during debates before the election, but since the socialist defeated him for the mayor's office, Sliwa appears to have warmed up to the leftist.'You can tell when people are true to the party, and I thought it was reprehensible.'In the video produced for the Inner Circle show, Sliwa pretends to be a doctor and gives the mayor an allergy shot so he can live with a cat in the official mayor's residence. The event raises money for charity."I thought it was great because it was promoting rescuing animals," Sliwa explained to the New York Post.Others didn't think it was so great."Betrayed his family. Betrayed the Republican Party. Betrayed everyone," said a GOP operative to the Post under the condition of anonymity. The Post reported that others said they wanted their political contributions to his campaign returned after seeing the video."When you don't have a bed to sleep in, you have to find anyone who will take you," replied former New York Gov. David Paterson, a Democrat. "You can tell when people are true to the party, and I thought it was reprehensible."Sliwa fired back at the Republicans criticizing him by pointing out they had not criticized President Donald Trump for cozying up to Mamdani several times."If people are upset at that, why aren’t you mad at the president, Donald Trump, who has welcomed him into the White House twice?" he said.He also claimed that the sketch was the first time he had spoken to Mamdani since the election.Sliwa is planning to run for the Republican nomination for the mayor's office again in 2029.RELATED: Mamdani made big promises to cut the budget — here's the embarrassing result so far Paterson was still angry at Sliwa for staying in the election and possibly playing spoiler for former Gov. Andrew Cuomo. He went on to mock Sliwa's performance in the mayoral election by comparing it to that of the New York Jets."[Curtis] was never going to win," Paterson said. "He got 7 percentage points, seven — even the Jets get seven when they play."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Swalwell lashes out at Trump after FBI reportedly looks to release files on his alleged Chinese spy scandal

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California accused President Donald Trump of trying to unfairly derail his gubernatorial campaign over new developments in his Chinese spy scandal.Swalwell's 2014 re-election campaign had gotten fundraising help from a woman named Christine Fang, who is believed to have had ties with Chinese intelligence. She also helped place an intern in his office.'The reason Trump is so desperately trying to stop me is not because I’m running for Governor of California, but because now I’m the favorite.' Swalwell has previously denied any wrongdoing and accused Republicans of exaggerating the scandal in order to damage his political career. On Saturday, both the Washington Post and the New York Times reported that Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel was seeking to release files related to the Fang investigation.Swalwell responded to the report by reiterating his accusations. "Through great reporting, we now know the outrageous ends the White House will go to target political opponents. As was Trump’s mortgage case against me, this decade-old story is, of course, nonsense," Swalwell responded, referring to mortgage fraud accusations that had been dismissed."The reason Trump is so desperately trying to stop me is not because I’m running for governor of California, but because now I’m the favorite," he added. "What Trump wants the most is to have a Western White House. An enabler on the opposite coast. A lot of people have bent the knee to this administration. But I will not. And neither will the people of California.”A spokesperson for the FBI denied any political motivation in their file releases."This FBI, being the most transparent in history, prepares documents for numerous different reasons, including for release to different agencies and departments to further review investigations that may have been opened under previous administrations," the spokesperson told the Washington Post.RELATED: Eric Swalwell lawsuit against Trump administration meets embarrassing end Recent polling indicates that Swalwell has pulled ahead of the other Democratic gubernatorial candidates but is still behind two Republican candidates.Fang has also been connected to other California Democrats, including Rep. Ro Khanna, Judy Chu, and former Rep. Mike Honda.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Two liberal states probed by Trump's DOJ over reports of transgender assaults in women's prisons

The Department of Justice is investigating whether some states are violating women's constitutional rights by sending transgender-identifying males to women's prisons. The DOJ said in a press release that prisons in California and Maine are under investigation for possible constitutional violations.'The Civil Rights Division will not allow women incarcerated in jails or prisons to be subject to unconstitutional risks of harm from male inmates.' "Keeping men out of women’s prisons is not only common sense — it’s a matter of safety and constitutional rights," said Attorney General Pam Bondi in a statement in the release. "The Trump administration will not stand by if governors are facilitating the abuse of biological women under the guise of inclusion."The release said that there had been reports of "sexual assaults, rape, voyeurism, and a pervasive climate of sexual intimidation" in the women's prison in San Bernardino County in California. The DOJ said California law allowed male prisoners with intact genitals to request being sent to women's prison based on their self-identification as transgender.Female prisoners in Maine also complained of assaults and harassment from a male who was being housed with them after identifying as transgender."Under my leadership, the Civil Rights Division will not allow women incarcerated in jails or prisons to be subject to unconstitutional risks of harm from male inmates," said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon."These investigations will uncover whether the dangerous national trend of housing men in women’s prisons has resulted in violations of women’s constitutional rights," she added.A spokesperson for the state legislator who authored the law allowing transgender-identifying males into women's prisons downplayed the possibility of assaults and said the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations had denied 47 times as many requests as it had approved as of last May."The main driver of sexual abuse in prison" is "assault by prison staff," said spokesperson Erik Mebust to the San Francisco Chronicle in comments from May.RELATED: Transgender activist indicted on charges of theft — from anti-Trump 'Women's March' Los Angeles mayoral candidate Tish Hyman, a black lesbian and Kamala Harris voter, became a national figure last November after her membership at Gold's Gym was canceled. Hyman went viral after filming her objection to a biological male using the women’s locker room, citing negative and threatening encounters with the individual. This highly publicized experience led her to campaign for mayor, and she said in an email statement to Blaze News that she takes the issue very seriously. "Women in custody are among the most vulnerable populations in our society, and they deserve dignity, safety, and protection without compromise. Policies that place biological men in women’s prisons raise legitimate concerns around privacy, safety, and the rights of female inmates, and those concerns should not be dismissed or minimized," she wrote. "I will absolutely use my platform both politically and publicly to advocate for policies that prioritize the safety and well being of women in custody," Hyman added. "That includes pushing for clear, enforceable standards that protect women’s spaces, ensure proper oversight, and hold institutions accountable when those standards are not met." California Coalition for Women Prisoners spokeswoman Courtney Hanson accused the Trump administration of a "national attack" in order to "erase and harm transgender people, especially transgender women in prison." 'It was wrong': Michael Jordan reveals insanely competitive reason for suing NASCAR

Legendary basketball player Michael Jordan says he went into his lawsuit against NASCAR with the same mentality that won him six NBA championships. While much of the terms of his settlement with the organization are not known, Jordan made one thing clear in a recent interview; he wasn't going to back down.'I was all in. I was going to win.'As owner of 23XI racing team, Jordan sued NASCAR in October 2024, claiming the organization used unfair practices to decide which teams can participate. The parties have since agreed to a settlement, with Jordan revealing in a recent interview that he felt he had to take up the legal battle in order to protect the future of the sport for its racing teams and drivers.Having always been a fan of NASCAR, Jordan said that when he was focused on basketball, he didn't quite grasp its inner workings, but when he got into the series, he started to "see how things [were] operating.""It was lopsided. It was wrong. The sport was not set up for success long-term for the individuals that's involved in the sport," Jordan told "CBS Sunday Morning."The basketball hall of famer pointed to an unequal system between NASCAR ownership and the racing teams."Now, up top, yeah, you know, they were making a good living," he told host Gayle King.Jordan said his motivation to make a lasting impression on the sport pushed him to go through with the lawsuit, compelling him to make his mark whether he won or lost."I was nervous. Any courtroom makes me nervous 'cause that's not where I want to be, really. 100%," he continued. "But I was all in. I was going to win."RELATED: Michael Jordan shocks NASCAR by doing something no one has done in 77 years The 63-year-old Jordan said it was never his intention to "attack NASCAR," but at the same time, he still went in to the lawsuit with a fighter's mentality."This fight was needed. And if I got kicked out, at least I made people aware that change needs to happen in this sport. So I went in with the idea that even if I lost, I won."Jordan followed up the December 2025 settlement by going on a tear to start the 2026 season; driver Tyler Reddick won the first three races of the season for 23XI racing team, something no team had ever done in the previous 77 years of NASCAR.RELATED: Lindsey Graham GOP challenger makes shocking promise to change NASCAR: 'South Carolina will rise again' Photo by Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images During his recent interview, Jordan spoke on his unending competitive spirit, and he said that he uses NASCAR to compensate for a "huge piece" of him that still wishes he could play basketball."[It's] not the same as me playing in Chicago ... but it's something that I think keeps me alive," Jordan said, comparing his current temperament to his playing days."That urge, the dream, that I wish I can still pick up a basketball. ...Yeah, I would definitely love to do that."Like Blaze News? The son of a teacher at a private Catholic grade school in Ohio was arrested for allegedly possessing a massive trove of disgusting child sex abuse material.Parents of the St. Susanna Parish School in Mason grew suspicious after receiving messages from the administration in February about a teacher stepping away from instruction.'Because I'm a pedophile x3. ... 'Most terrifying, shocking thing': 9-year-old dies after attempting social media challenge

The Texas family of a 9-year-old girl is grieving her loss after she died from attempting a social media challenge.Curtis and Wendi Blackwell told CBS News that their daughter JackLynn loved karaoke and wanted to become a singing star.'You could check on your kid, it could be kid-friendly videos, and then three minutes later it could be totally something dark because of the algorithms they start creating.'"It was just the three of us, three amigos. We did everything together," Curtis Blackwell said. They recalled the horror of the last day they saw their daughter alive in the back yard of their home in Stephenville."Normal morning, tickle her to wake her up to get ready for school," the mother said."She goes out to play like she always does, out in the yard. I noticed it's kind of quiet — quieter than it should've been," Curtis Blackwell said. "Then I saw her kind of around the corner that goes to the carport, saw her hair. I said, 'JackLynn!' I thought she was bending over playing because she was always in that area playing, but she wasn't playing."His daughter had a cord around her neck when he found her."I found her unconscious. She was leaned into the cord," he added. "I tried to do everything I could to save her. I got her off the cord. I tried to give her CPR until the first responders got there. It was the most terrifying, shocking thing I've ever seen. It was horrible to see my daughter in such a vulnerable state because of something so senseless."They believe that she was trying the dangerous "blackout" challenge that has caused other deaths and grievous injuries to others. It involves choking oneself in order to obtain a euphoric high."My mom told me that JackLynn had shown her a video before of a guy doing that with the cord. My mom told her, 'Don't you ever do that,'" Curtis Blackwell added. About 80 people have died from the challenge. They were Noa and Johnny Jr., children of the late Johnny Gaudreau. In 2023, Gaudreau, 31, and his younger brother Matthew, 29, were tragically killed by a drunk driver while riding bicycles in Oldmans Township, New Jersey. Gaudreau was one of the star players for the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, while Matthew was a former professional hockey player who last played in the ECHL.In yet another wonderful gesture, Team USA invited Johnny Gaudreau's widow, Meredith, to join the team in Italy on Saturday, along with the Gaudreau brothers' parents, Guy and Jane. The whole family was in the audience for the gold-medal game."To be able to get it done like that, to win, to have his jersey out there in the team photo, have his kids come out and be with us, we're obviously thinking of him," Auston Matthews said, per ESPN. "Just felt like the impact that he's had on so many guys in this room is special. He was with us in spirit the whole tournament," Matthews added.RELATED: 'LOTS OF WINNING!!!' Trump praises America's historic hockey victory at Winter Olympics "It's fun to be a part of this," Meredith said before the game. "When we got the call to come out, it felt like maybe he did make the team. So it's fun. Here to represent him and support everyone that's honoring him, as well."Meredith revealed to a reporter that she only had two days' notice before making the trip overseas to join the squad, but she said it was something she simply could not pass up."Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the kids. So that was the main reason that drove me out here," the mother continued, before delivering some truly heartbreaking remarks. "I feel like I have two roles in life now: It's honor John, my husband, and make sure these kids know how special their dad is and give them some special opportunities."RELATED: NHL superstar Johnny Gaudreau and brother killed by suspected drunk driver on eve of sister's wedding: 'Unimaginable tragedy' Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images USA forward Dylan Larkin firmly stated that "Johnny and Matty should be here.""That is the biggest loss that all of us at USA Hockey, their family, our family, has gone through," Larkin continued. "And to have Johnny Jr. and Noa out there, it just felt right."Larkin added that he thought the Gaudreau brothers may have had a hand in stopping some pucks from going into the USA net."And I think part of those, the puck not going in our net, was somehow him standing there doing something, laughing with Matty. Just somehow they put a spell around our net where that puck didn't go in."Larkin then joked around, reportedly smiling while saying, "Ironic, on the defensive side; he would've never been back there," he said about Johnny. These comments nearly mirrored what was said about the late brothers by their sister, Katie. Katie jokingly told Fox News that while her brothers were "never quite defensive," she thought a couple of saves had some assistance from above."Up there, they were definitely helping out."Like Blaze News? 14-year-old car thieves slam stolen vehicle into Baltimore cop who opens fire as he's hit — and the crooks get away

A trio of 14-year-old car thieves slammed a stolen vehicle into a Baltimore police officer who opened fire as he was hit — and while the teens managed to get away from the scene, police said they arrested them days later.Officer William Cole responded around 12:05 a.m. Sunday to an attempted break-in call, WBAL-TV reported.'I need a medic!'Police released Cole's body-worn camera video, which showed the officer arriving at the location on West Lombard Street; he soon encountered multiple people in a Kia sedan that backed up and struck a parked vehicle, the station said. When Cole ordered the driver to stop, the driver backed up again and struck the officer, WBAL said, citing the video.Police said Cole fired his gun once at the car as he fell, the station said, adding that the driver fled the scene and hit another vehicle as well as the officer's patrol car in the process.Video then shows an injured man approaching the officer from across the street and collapsing. The officer is heard saying on the bodycam video, "I need a medic! You good, bro? I got you. What's wrong, bro, you OK?" RELATED: 3 males — ages 8, 11, 12 — steal car, crash into house; driver, 11, says he learned how to steal cars from YouTube: Cops Police said the officer rendered aid to the 21-year-old injured man who was assaulted by multiple people before the officer's arrival at the scene, WBAL reported; the victim wasn't taken to a hospital. However, the officer at the scene injured his ankle and was treated and released from a hospital, the station said.Police told WBAL that officers found the Kia in question abandoned on South Arlington Avenue and that the vehicle was reported stolen Saturday from East Chase Street.More from WBAL:Police said detectives were able to identify two of the Kia's occupants as two 14-year-old boys who have prior charges of robbery and auto theft and were on electronic monitoring as a result. Detectives arrested the boys Monday on aggravated assault and auto theft charges. They remain detained at Juvenile Booking.Police said detectives later identified the driver of the Kia as a 14-year-old girl. During her arrest on Tuesday, police said officers learned the girl had been treated at a hospital on Sunday for a wound to her right wrist. The girl's mother told detectives that the injury may be a gunshot graze wound; police said further investigation is needed to determine the cause of the injury. The girl was taken to Juvenile Booking, where she was charged with aggravated assault and stolen auto. She was later released on electronic monitoring.Teen crime in Baltimore despite electronic monitoring is not a new phenomenon. Last summer, a 13-year-old with a GPS ankle monitor who had been arrested 18 times for felonies was charged in connection with a violent city crime spree.Like Blaze News? Mamdani goes full ‘Batman villain’ and holds New York City hostage

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has unveiled his new budget — and it’s every bit as ridiculous as BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales anticipated.“On another episode of ‘I told you so,’ it took less than two months for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to turn, I think, into a Batman villain,” Gonzales jokes.“You guys are going to be shocked to hear this. You’re going to be shocked to hear all of these promises of free everything, free child schools, free child care, free schools, free buses, all the free s**t, doesn’t have enough money to pay for all of the free,” she explains.“So he’s announced that he’s basically taking the entire city hostage, and if the state government doesn’t give into his demands and implement his billionaire tax, he’s going to make you pay,” she continues.“For those who have watched budget after budget, it is tempting to assume that we are engaging in the same dance as our predecessors. Let me assure you, nothing about this is typical. That’s why our solutions won’t be either. There are two paths to bridge this gap. The first is the most sustainable and the fairest path,” Mamdani explained at New York City Hall.“This is the path of ending the drain on our city and raising taxes on the richest New Yorkers and the most profitable corporations. The onus for resolving this crisis should not be placed on the backs of working and middle-class New Yorkers. If we do not fix this structural imbalance and do not heed the calls of New Yorkers to raise taxes on the wealthy, this crisis will not disappear,” he continued.“It will simply return year after year, forcing harder and harsher choices each time. And if we do not go down the first path, the city will be forced down a second, more harmful path. Faced with no other choice, the city would have to exercise the only revenue lever fully within our own control. We would have to raise property taxes,” he added.“Oh, wow. I for one am super shocked,” Gonzales says. “Like, who could have ever predicted that a Muslim commie would go on TV and lay out a list of terroristic demands?”“Where’s the money going to come from?” she asks, before answering herself, “I know. We’re just going to tax hardworking Americans more.”Want more from Sara Gonzales? To enjoy more of Sara's no-holds-barred takes on news and culture, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Adults are using American Girl dolls for anti-ICE activism and ‘misplaced mothering’

There’s a strange new infantilizing phenomenon taking over social media, and BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey is disturbed to say the least. “There are these conferences where these women who treat their dolls as toddlers feed them, change their diaper, take them out,” Stuckey says on “Relatable.” “It’s true,” she continues, explaining that they put them “in strollers, and they take videos of them going on vacation with them.” “There is this whole influencer who shows her day-in-the-life where she’s turning on the lights, and she’s like waking up her children, and they’re dolls. It’s very, very, very sad. Very sad. Like, we need better hobbies. We need better ways to spend our time,” she continues. However, that’s not even the worst of it. “Now we also have adults using dolls to be progressive activists. And there’s a lot of crossover here between Disney adults, adult doll people, and these left-wing activists. And I think that the through line is actually what we call ‘misplaced mothering,’” Stuckey explains. Misplaced mothering, Stuckey says, is “when your motherhood instinct is not channeled in the right healthy direction toward a child, whether it’s your child or a child that you’re volunteering to take care of, it manifests itself in really ugly and bitter and weird ways.” One Instagram user who goes by “backintimeag” has been posing her American Girl dolls in the world, taking photos, and posting them with political messages. “Kirsten will be happy when ICE gets the f**k out of Minnesota,” one American Girl doll photo says. “Kirsten is churning butter. OK? She doesn’t care about ICE. I guarantee you, Kirsten and her parents would have supported deporting illegal immigrants,” Stuckey says. The user posted another photo of the American Girl doll Josephine, who is supposed to be from Mexico, with the text, “ICE needs to get the f**k out of my country.” “ICE is not in your country,” Stuckey says. Another influencer who goes by “AGTV4LIFE” on Instagram posted a video of American Girl dolls all dressed up, complete with signs, to protest Trump and “fascism.” “She’s got one in a wheelchair that says, ‘Resist fascism’ ... she’s creating these little protest signs. They’re at a No Kings protest. You’ve got way too much time on your hands. OK, we need a job, girly. We need a hobby. We need to go to church,” Stuckey comments. “We also have doll ICE agents. Oh my goodness. It’s too much. ... We’re laughing, but think about what has to be going on spiritually for a person to spend their time doing this,” she says. “So there’s something simultaneously happening here. On the one hand, you’ve got the infantilizing of adults who use dolls and do a bunch of kids' stuff ... I’m not saying going to Disney as an adult is always bad, but the obsession is weird,” she continues. “There’s this infantilization of adults going on. This extended adolescence that I think arrests the development that you need to actually be a productive and well-developed healthy mentally person,” she adds. However, something even more insidious is going on than just the infantilization of adults. “At the same time, there’s an adultification of children stuff. We see that here,” Stuckey says. “It’s the conflation and the confusion of adolescence and childhood and adulthood that is making this very disturbing combination. OK? And I’m not really sure exactly what the answer is except, I mean, definitely find God,” she adds. Trans shooter epidemic unmasked? Poll uncovers potential link to ongoing attacks

In less than two weeks, two deadly shootings — both allegedly by transgender-identifying biological males. One was a school rampage in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, that killed eight people, and the other a targeted family attack during a youth hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where two of the alleged shooter’s family members were left dead.BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere wonders if we’re dealing with a “trans shooter epidemic.”“We’ve done this story ... over and over and over and over and over and over and over again,” he says. It’s usually one of two scenarios, he says: “You have some person who's a crazy sort of leftist that winds up getting into the trans ideology world” and becomes “very defensive of it to a violent extent, like we saw with the Charlie Kirk situation," or “you have a situation where the person is just a crazy leftist and starts going out and killing people because of their mass confusion in their life.”But what’s the root cause of this kind of violence? On this episode of “Stu Does America,” Stu dives into a study that might provide some insight into that question. “Obviously, all [transgender-identifying] people are not murdering others. We do, though, see a disproportionate amount of people who are involved in this ideology … that are involved in violent acts,” he says, citing trans-identifying biological female Audrey Hale, who killed six children and three adults at an elementary school in Nashville in March 2023, and Tyler Robinson, the alleged assassin of Charlie Kirk, who was romantically involved with a transgender-identifying male.Stu wonders why of all the “fancy letters” in the LGBTQIA2+ alphabet, it is transgender-identifying individuals who seem more prone to violence. The answer may lie, at least partially, in how different sexual identities answer the question: “Is disagreement violence?” Stu cites a study from PsychFORM, which examined how transgender-identifying respondents answered that question compared to gay-identifying respondents.“About 15% to 18% of gay people say, ‘Yeah, you know, any disagreement, I see as violence.’ ... The number for trans people is 100%. 100% of trans people in this poll said that disagreement equals violence,” Stu exclaims. The study also tested another question: “Is reasoned disagreement permissible?”According to the chart, roughly 18% of gay-identifying respondents answered no, compared to over 90% of trans-identifying respondents.“If you're looking for an explanation to understand what's going on in that realm when it comes to violence and trans people, look no farther than that chart,” says Stu.Want more from Stu?To enjoy more of Stu's lethal wit, wisdom, and mockery, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
