Canadian School Shooter Identified as 18-Year-Old Trans Woman
Canadian police have identified Jesse Vanrootselaar, an 18-year-old trans woman, as the perpetrator of a school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, that left at least nine people dead. Authorities reported that Vanrootselaar, who had previous interactions with police regarding mental health issues, died from a self-inflicted wound at the scene.
